Misty Fjord Seafood Producers

Fran Kaul, the fisherman behind Misty Fjord, is a Minneapolis native turned Alaskan fisherman. Fran and her crew fish for wild salmon in Bristol Bay, a southwest cove of Alaska.

All of Misty Fjord's salmon is wild caught, and bled and refridgerated immediately. Their salmon is caught, processed, vaccuum packed and frozen with in 24 hours. This allows for a fresher tasting and more nutritious fish than other varieties. 

Fran's sister Chloe delivers the wild caught salmon to Minnesota food co-ops and retailers in Minnesota, Wisconsin and Iowa.
